Hedvig Koertz Mikkelsen is an artist, designer and researcher based in Rotterdam. Her projects take the form of
spatial installation, sculpture, drawing and writing. She has realised projects in Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands and has collaborated with artists, architects, writers and designers.
Hedvig Koertz is available for various types of commissions as well as concept development. She holds a BA in fine Art from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam and an MA in Interior Architecture at the Piet Zwart Institute in Rotterdam.
In March 2022 she co-founded 'an other world project space' in Rotterdam Zuid with artist Jake Caleb. The space hosts exhibitions, events and workshops by artists with a focus on experimentation with various types of presentation formats and ways of coming together.
